We are proud to announce that Portier parking guidance solutions have been installed at the newly built Assi Hospital (Ahveniston sairaala) in Hämeenlinna, Finland. Designed to serve both visitors and hospital staff, the new parking facility is equipped with intelligent Portier parking guidance system that makes finding available parking easier, faster, and more efficient.
Assi Hospital is set to be a state-of-the-art healthcare hub for the region, and we’re honoured to contribute to its mission by ensuring a smooth and stress-free arrival experience for all. With our real-time parking guidance and space monitoring technology, users can quickly locate free spaces, reduce congestion and save valuable time—something especially critical in a hospital environment.
This project highlights Portier’s ongoing commitment to supporting modern infrastructure with smart, user-focused parking solutions.
At the entrance of the parking facility the driver is welcomed with Portier parking guidance display indicating the availability of spaces in the building. In the driving lanes parking guidance displays are directing drivers towards the available parking spaces. Each parking space is equipped with a Portier Sonic Park sensor, which both guides the driver by indicating with either green or red leds about the space availability as well as contributes to the counting of the overall parking capacity in the facility. The rooftop parking area is equipped with Portier Vision outdoor cameras. There are three cameras monitoring 111 parking spaces, detecting the number of vehicles and adding the calculation data of parking spaces into the total space availability. All these Portier parking guidance products with varying technologies are connected to Portier HOST, our unique parking guidance platform, creating a single, seamless user experience.
The hospital will open its doors to patients in 2026, however the parking facility is already completed and waiting for the drivers to arrive.
